Temple Of Baal

Coming To A City Near You

April 2016: The Temple Of Baal Will Be Erected In Times Square In New York City and In Trafalgar Square in London

Will Be Followed By Hundreds More All Over The World

By Michael Snyder, on March 22nd, 2016

I realize that the headline of this article sounds like it must be false, but it is actually completely true.  The Temple of Baal (also known as the Temple of Bel) was a world famous landmark that was located in Palmyra, Syria.

In August 2015, this temple was destroyed by ISIS, and most of the world recoiled in terror at the loss of a “cultural heritage site”.

In an attempt to “preserve history”, two exact replicas of the 50 foot arch that stood at the entrance to the temple will be erected in April 2016 in Times Square in New York City and in Trafalgar Square in London.

Needless to say, a lot of people are quite disturbed by this.

In ancient times, child sacrifice and bisexual orgies were common practices at the altars of Baal, and now we are putting up a monument of worship to this false god in the heart of our most important city.

When I first came across this story, I could hardly believe it.  But this is not just some Internet rumor.  This was reported by the New York Times…

NEXT month, the Temple of Baal will come to Times Square. Reproductions of the 50-foot arch that formed the temple’s entrance are to be installed in New York and in London, a tribute to the 2,000-year-old structure that the Islamic State destroyed last year in the Syrian town of Palmyra. The group’s rampage through Palmyra, a city that reached its peak in the second and third century A.D., enraged the world, spurring scholars and conservationists into action. Numerous nongovernmental organizations are now cataloging and mapping damaged cultural heritage sites in the region.

Of course most non-religious Americans don’t understand who Baal was, nor do they really care.

But the truth is that many of the elements of ancient Baal worship are being mirrored in our society now in 2016.  The following is an excerpt from an excellent article by Matt Barber…

"Ritualistic Baal worship, in sum, looked a little like this:
Adults would gather around the altar of Baal. Infants would then be burned alive as a sacrificial offering to the deity. Amid horrific screams and the stench of charred human flesh, congregants – men and women alike – would engage in bisexual orgies. The ritual of convenience was intended to produce economic prosperity by prompting Baal to bring rain for the fertility of “mother earth.”
The natural consequences of such behavior – pregnancy and childbirth – and the associated financial burdens of “unplanned parenthood” were easily offset. One could either choose to engage in homosexual conduct or – with child sacrifice available on demand – could simply take part in another fertility ceremony to “terminate” the unwanted child.
Modern liberalism deviates little from its ancient predecessor. While its macabre rituals have been sanitized with flowery and euphemistic terms of art, its core tenets and practices remain eerily similar."
So considering the child sacrifice and sexual immorality that we are engaged in today, perhaps it is only natural for us to have a Temple of Baal in Times Square.

In the ancient world, the names Baal and Bel were often interchangeable, and they both trace back to the ancient Babylonian god Marduk.

The following comes from Wikipedia…

Bel became especially used of the Babylonian god Marduk and when found in Assyrian and neo-Babylonian personal names or mentioned in inscriptions in a Mesopotamian context it can usually be taken as referring to Marduk and no other god. Similarly Belit without some disambiguation mostly refers to Bel Marduk’s spouse Sarpanit. However Marduk’s mother, the Sumerian goddess called Ninhursag, Damkina, Ninmah and other names in Sumerian, was often known as Belit-ili ‘Lady of the Gods’ in Akkadian.

According to research published by Bruce W. Warren and John A. Tvedtnes, Marduk was “a huntergod” that was believed to have been the founder of ancient Babylon according to ancient Babylonian tradition…

The Akkadian name Marduk derives front the Sumerian MAR.UTU, a huntergod. He is said to have led a revolt of the gods against his parents, after which he was enthroned as king of the gods. In Babylonian tradition, it was he who founded Babylon (Babilu, “gate of the gods”). His temple at Babylon bore the name E.SAGILA, “house that lifts up the head”, and the tower associated with it was called, in Sumerian Etemenanki, “house of the foundation of heaven and earth.” The similarity to the tower of Babel is evident.

If you are familiar with the book of Genesis, this should remind you of Genesis 10:9 where we are told that Nimrod was “a mighty hunter before the Lord”.  And ancient Jewish tradition specifically identifies Nimrod as the one that constructed the Tower of Babel.

In addition to Marduk, other names from the ancient world that are linked with Nimrod include Ninurta, Gilgamesh, Osiris, Dionysus, Apollo, Narmer and Enmerkar.  I know that this can get very confusing.

In the following excerpt, Peter Goodgame helps us to connect some of the dots…

In Part Eight of this study we examined evidence that Nimrod was known in Egypt as King Narmer, who was later deified as the god Osiris, the Lord of the Underworld.

In Part Five we looked at evidence that Nimrod was known to the ancient Sumerians as the great King Enmerkar who attempted to build a huge tower to the gods in the ancient city of Eridu—a city referred to as the original “Babylon” by the historian Berossos.

Traditionally the Tower of Babel event has been associated with Nimrod, and Jewish commentaries as well as the Jewish historian Josephus both seem very emphatic on this point.

Regarding the Sumerian name Enmer-kar, the suffix “kar” means “hunter,”  and so “Enmer-kar” is in fact “Enmer the Hunter,” just as Nimrod is referred to as the “Mighty Hunter” in Genesis 10.

Furthermore, Enmerkar is named on the Sumerian King List as “the one who built Uruk,” just as Nimrod is described in Genesis 10:10 as having a kingdom that began in “Babel (Eridu) and Erech (Uruk)… in the land of Shinar.” After Enmerkar’s death he became honored in Sumerian myth as the semi-divine hero Ninurta, and eventually this cult evolved into the great cult of Marduk, which became the state religion of Babylon after the conquests and religious innovations of Hammurabi.

According to some traditions, the original Freemason was Nimrod.  He created the very first “New World Order” in the post-flood world, and virtually all of the major gods of ancient Babylon, Greece and Rome ultimately trace back to him or traditions surrounding him.

But for many modern occultists, the story of Nimrod is far from done.  A lot of secret societies and occult groups have traditions that tell them that Nimrod/Marduk/Osiris/Apollo/Baal will someday be resurrected and will once again rule the world.

And many Bible scholars believe that the coming Antichrist will either be a resurrected Nimrod or will be associated with him in some way.

With all of the preceding in mind, could it be possible that we are actually erecting a temple for the Antichrist in New York City next month?

If you are not religious, I know that all of this must sound very strange.  But there are occultists that take this stuff deadly seriously, and nothing this large gets space in either Times Square or Trafalgar Square by accident.

There are very powerful people out there that made this happen, and perhaps someone should ask them what their intentions are.

This is a walk-through the main sanctuary of the Holy Temple, showcasing decades of research and tens of innovative Halachic solutions to various perplexing issues that were resolved to create fully functional, ready-to-use plans. As the visual tour sweeps through the sanctuary, one can see the menorah, incense altar and showbread table, all of which have already been prepared by the Institute, among 70 other sacred vessels. The presentation was specially released to coincide with the Ninth of Av, the Jewish national day of mourning which commemorates the destruction of the First and Second Temples.
This is not a ‘virtual’ representation, but a portion of a complete and highly detailed architectural plan which has been prepared for the immediate construction of the Holy Temple. The plan includes all of components that will be used in building: marble, stone, concrete, wood, flooring materials, overlay of gold, etc.

The external view presents the openings, windows, chambers, the outer hall, the Sanctuary and the Holy of Holies.

In the first stage we are moving through the hall’s entrance. As we continue we arrive at the golden chains described in Tractate Middot, which the young priests-in-training would climb in order to view the decorative crowns that were placed in unique windows above the entrance to the Sanctuary. The visit continues on to the 38 chambers that surrounded the Sanctuary. The door opens and we find ourselves within the first chamber. We turn left and enter into the Sanctuary. From the right we see the three major vessels of the Sanctuary: The golden altar, the table of the showbread, and the menorah. We also see the curtain with its depiction of the two cherubim.

This curtain is actually a double curtain, that separates between the Holy area (the Sanctuary), and the Holy of Holies. We look up to the ceiling of the Sanctuary, which reaches a height of 40 amot. Near the ceiling are the ‘narrowing windows’ (Kings I 6:4) which direct from the Temple outwards.

Turning behind us, we see the doors of the Sanctuary towards the east, as they are opened each morning by the priests, revealing the blue skies of Jerusalem at sunrise.

From the Sanctuary, we turn back to the chambers and go out to the long passageway known as the ‘mesiba.’ We ascend stairs that lead to the roof of the chambers. We continue moving, encircling the Temple from the north and west, afterwards turning east.

At the end of the passageway stands a special ladder that is used to ascend to the upper level. This level has a very high level of sanctity. One opinion maintains that it is only entered once in seventy years (for maintenance purposes).

In summary, this is a highly-detailed building plan which includes room for further innovation by professionals and craftsmen, including decoration, heating and electric etc. According to the decisions of the steering committee that will be established to oversee the construction of the Third Holy Temple, which can be begun immediately.

The video comes one year after the Temple Institute appealed to its supporters to take part in an Indiegogo crowd funding campaign that raised over $100,000 for the architectural plans. The video was first released to supporters of a current campaign to raise the first kosher Red Heifer in Israel in over 2,000 years. Over the past five years, the organization has released its most ambitious campaigns and poignant videos to reframe the mourning period into one of active preparation for the Third Holy Temple.

Rabbi Chaim Richman, International Director of The Temple Institute noted: “One third of all Torah commandments pertain to the building of and service in the Holy Temple. Today, we not only mourn the destruction of the two Holy Temples, but also our inability to fulfill one third of the Torah. Over the last three decades, the Temple Institute has done everything in our power to research and prepare for the Third Temple. As world Jewry sits on the ground mourning the first two Temples, we have taken a huge leap towards the rebuilding, by releasing a 3D architectural rendition of the Third Temple”

The Temple Institute is the center of research and preparation for the Holy Temple. In addition to educational activity focused on the centrality of the Temple Mount and Holy Temple, the Institute have also recreated over 70 sacred vessels for use in the Third Holy Temple, which can be seen at their Visitors Center in the Old City of Jerusalem.Holy Temple, which can be begun immediately.

Dan 9:27  And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.

Dan 11:31  And arms shall stand on his part, and they shall pollute the sanctuary of strength, and shall take away the daily sacrifice, and they shall place the abomination that maketh desolate.

Dan 12:11  And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days.

The Original Ashes

"Speak to the Children of Israel, and have them bring you a red heifer... "

These words teach us that God told Moses, "even if all the heifers throughout history are lost, that your will remain forever." For there is a tradition that all the heifers are sanctified through Moses' original heifer, and a portion of those ashes were put away for the future sanctification of Israel.

Why are the earlier ashes needed?

Earlier it was mentioned that in the days of the Holy Temple, the priest who was to burn a new heifer was sprinkled during his week of separation with ashes that had been made previously, back through the generations. This was done as one of the extra measures of purity associated with the ceremony of the red heifer, even though he was known to be clean, and there had been no opportunity for him to become otherwise while he was in the Temple.

Some opinions maintain that the newer ashes were always mixed together with a combination of the previous ashes. One way of understanding this, is to the view this mixture of old and new ashes as being yet another precautionary measure... actually, as a kind of insurance policy.

The ordinance of the purification has an almost unparalleled status for Israel; after all, the purity of the entire congregation is dependent on it. But every man has his limitations, being only human. What would happen if the entire process had been carried through according to the letter of the law, but some detail which could render the procedure invalid, had gone undetected? One scenario might be that a perfect red heifer had been chosen and found to be blemish - free, and all of the other steps had been followed, exactly as we have discussed in these pages. But unknown to those officiating, in reality the heifer had a blemish which disqualified it. If such a thing could happen, how can Israel's purity be vouchsafed?

One way would be to simply depend on the ashes prepared by the leaders of an earlier generation, since those great men were more scrupulous than we. There is a general principle taught by the sages that as the generations progress in time, they become weaker spiritually. The previous generations were on a far more exalted and powerful level than those who follow. This notion may appear strange at first; after all, what of all our technological advancements, our discoveries and achievements?

This is an interesting point to ponder. The last 100 years has seen more scientific discoveries and advancements than the last 1,000. However, if we are more advanced scientifically than our predecessors, that does not mean we are more advanced spiritually. The opposite is true; the spiritual power of the sages who lived in the era of the Second Temple was so great that every one of them had the ability to resurrect the dead. Those giants did not have the machines and technology that we have today because they did not need them! However, as the generations dwindle and draw closer, in these waning end - days, to the coming of the messiah, we are truly impoverished spiritually. We need all of these advancements in order to serve God; when used properly, our discoveries can be tools for spiritual fulfillment as well. The Creator has granted bursts of inspiration and illumination in recent years so that man, whose own perceptual capacities are diminishing, will be better equipped to seek the meaning behind it all... God, who directs the universe towards His purpose.

So too, the "insurance policy" with regard to the ashes prepared by those men who were closer to the Sinai Revelation than we. The chances that something has gone wrong now are not that likely. However, even if such a mishap has transpired, if we combine these ashes with a previous solution, we can rely on the majority portion of the mixture, which is certainly error - free beyond any doubt.

A Deeper Insight

Additionally, mixing in the newer ashes we have produced now with those from olden times is a way of connecting through time with the original heifer that was slaughtered and prepared by Moses. As such, in a sense, it is a way of connecting with the level of Moses himself.

We have seen that Moses has a special, personal association with the concept of the red heifer. "... Speak to the children of Israel, that they bring you a red heifer without defect;" God decreed that it was to be called after his name for all time. One reason that Moses alone was able to comprehend the great paradox of this precept, is because Moses reached a spiritual level of understanding that no man, before or after, can ever hope to imitate.

On that exalted level, Moses achieved a closeness to God which was also without equal:

"And He said, hear now my words. If there be a prophet among you, I the Lord make Myself known to him in a vision, and speak to him in a dream. But not so when it comes to My servant Moses; he is the trusted one in all My house. With him I speak face to face, directly, and not in dark speeches; and the likeness of the Lord he does behold. Why then were you not afraid to speak against My servant Moses?" (Numbers 12:7). And: "And there arose not a prophet since in Israel like Moses, whom the Lord knew face to face." (Deut. 34:10)

Moses understood the truest nature of one of the most important aspects of the heifer's purifactory quality: repentance. He was a master of repentance. Moreover, Israel's collective forgiveness was so important to him that he was willing to negate himself completely for their sake ("And now, if You will forgive their sin - and if not, I pray, blot me out of the book You have written" - Ex. 32:32). Moses' act was imbued with these qualities, and they were present in the ashes of that first heifer, made as a response to the incident of the golden calf... "let the mother come and clean her child's filth."

All of Israel strives to repent, to attain the level of Moses, the man called "the man of God" by the Holy One Himself (Deut. 33:1; Psalms 90:1). Even though such understanding is far from us, as King Solomon declared regarding the precept of the red heifer... by mixing the waters of sanctification together with ashes prepared by Moses himself, it is as if we have some connection, beyond our own limitations, with the true and absolute understanding of the red heifer which Moses attained. As we are sprinkled by the ashes, our hope is that we shall merit to some infinitesimal degree of the true repentance, and the fear and love of God, which Moses had, so that we may indeed be cleansed and purified.

Can We Proceed Without the Original Ashes?

An oft - asked question with regard to preparations for a new red heifer in our own time is: Even if a new red heifer could somehow be obtained, slaughtered and burned, how can ritual purity be reinstated without the kelal, the container of original ashes dating back from the time of Moses?

Indeed, many people seem to be under the impression that without those original ashes, it would be impossible to rebuild the Temple - since they would have to mixed in with the new ones, as was done in the past, whenever a red heifer was prepared.

Raiders of the Lost Ashes?

To this end, many people are aware that in recent years, certain individuals and groups have embarked upon numerous expeditions, most of them centered around a particular location in Israel, where it is believed that the ashes of the red heifer may have been hidden. Most of the evidence for this belief comes from a particular interpretation of passages in the Copper Scroll, one of the well - known and most cryptic Dead Sea Scrolls, discovered in one of the Qumran caves in 1952. These scrolls were found in a series of caves in and around the desert area of Qumran. Presumably, they were authored by members of the essene community at the close of the Second Temple period.

Background: About the Dead Sea Scrolls

The Dead Sea Scrolls are ancient documents which have great historical and scholarly value. The first scrolls were discovered in 1947; more were discovered later in caves above the Northwest end of the Dead Sea. According to the findings of archeologists, the scrolls stored in jars in the first cave at Qumran were written or copied between the 1st cent. B.C. and the first half of the 1st cent. A.D.

One of the most important finds among the scrolls are two copies of the Book of Isaiah, almost 1,000 years older than any Hebrew biblical manuscript previously known. Another important scroll was the so - called Manual of Discipline for an ascetic community, which has been identified with both the ruins at nearby Qumran and the Essenes, a Jewish religious sect living an ascetic communal agricultural life in that region between the 2d cent. B.C. and 2d cent. A.D. On the basis of parallels between the Qumran scrolls and the New Testament, some scholars have suggested a tie between the Essenes and the early Christians. However, recent work by other archaeologists and biblical scholars has questioned the association of the scrolls with the Qumran ruins and the Essenes.

Evidence from the Copper Scroll

Some have claimed to have discovered "linguistic" evidence that proves Qumran is the site described in this scroll, known as Wadi HaKippah, and that "Cave #4" is the "Cave of the Column" whose entrance is described in the Copper Scroll. It is believed that this scroll was hidden along with items from the Holy Temple just before the destruction by the Roman legions in the year 70 A.D. The scroll relates that vessels and treasures, as well as a container of ashes of the red heifer, were taken from the Holy Temple before the destruction and hidden in this area.

Among those who have led expeditions in search of the ashes are those who claim to have "used seismic, electromagnetic and infrared ground penetrating radar and Molecular Frequency Analysis (such as Nasa uses from satellites) at the Qumran site." This particular ministry solicts funding to continue operating archaeological digs in the area, and claims to be aware of many more as yet undiscovered scrolls. They advertise that their equipment has shown that "there are readings of anomalies which indicate underground caverns. One of these anomalies is an underground cavern almost 50 feet below ground level and not visible from the surface. The readings indicate that they contain, as yet, undiscovered scrolls."

In these advertisements, it goes on to state that "the MFA analysis shows other details that are just as intriguing. One reading, from Qumran, of a vessel with ashes in it is of great interest. Could this be a hidden portion of the Ashes of the red heifer, necessary for purification of the Temple, which has been the focus of extensive searching by a number of archaeologists?"

The following is a quotation which appears the internet site of one of these organizations:

"There are differing attitudes towards the need of the red heifer's ashes. A small percentage of Jewish people (and a few Gentiles), believe a new red heifer can be offered and its ashes used for the purification. To accomplish this, two herds of red cattle have been started in Israel in order to raise an unblemished red heifer born in the land of Israel. There are two problems with this. First, a new future heifer would have to be offered on the Miphkad Altar (currently in the hands of the Moslems) located on the Mount of Olives. Second, in order to have a new offering of the red heifer, ashes of the heifer that could be traced back to Numbers 19 would have to be used to cleanse the Miphkad Altar to have the required "clean place." This leads to the obvious conclusion that, even if a newly born, unblemished red heifer were to be offered today, ashes that can be traced back to the first offering of the heifer (Numbers 19) would still have to be found for the continuity of the "perpetual and forever," as prescribed in this passage."

An Authoritative Response
Because of the importance of the red heifer for all of Israel, there is a great need for this issue to be addressed. Since we have examined the significance of the original ashes from the heifer that Moses prepared, it should be obvious to the reader that obtaining those ashes would truly be a most fortunate turn of events.

Our intention here is not to discredit anyone or cast aspersions on the motivations of any of these groups or individuals. However, there are a number of points which must be remembered. Firstly, it is inconceivable that incorrect or inaccurate information should be passed off as truth. Whatever their true intentions may be, the statement quoted above is a gross distortion of the issue, and has no basis in the reality of Biblical law or Jewish practice. All of the information in this statement is false. More importantly, how does one who is not an authority on Jewish law come to an "obvious conclusion" that a red heifer cannot be made without the earlier ashes - unless he is driven by another motivation?

It is also important to state that even if one concedes to the historical significance and value of the Dead Sea Scrolls, and accords them the honor due all ancient documents, the fact remains that the Copper Scroll is literally a closed book. Its passages can be deciphered in any one of several contradictory directions; its authorship is unclear; it lacks the conviction of an authorative source.

These are some of the questions which should be asked:

Is it correct to assume that a red heifer cannot be prepared without the original ashes?
Is it correct to assume that the Copper Scroll provides the location of the ashes?
Is it correct to assume that the exact location described in that scroll has been identified?

Assuming that some substance was found, and assuming that it could even be proven scientifically to be organic and possibly from an animal - how could it be proven that these are the original ashes, from the time of Moses?

How could it be proven that they were not rendered impure?

If a portion of those ashes were indeed set aside for the future sanctification of Israel, then perhaps they shall be found. Or, perhaps they will only be revealed through Divine intervention; perhaps when the Messiah arrives he will identify their location. It would certainly be desirable for all of Israel if the original ashes could be located and proven to be authentic beyond any doubt.

But in the meantime, let the truth be known: there is nothing to stop the people of Israel from raising a new red heifer, from birth, and preparing it in the manner we have described in these pages, and raising children in purity to carry out the procedure - even without the original ashes. On the contrary: we may be in doubt as to the true nature of any discovery that is unearthed whose authenticity cannot be completely verified. But a perfect heifer, born and raised under a controlled environment, would be fit to be used for the Temple. And that is precisely what is being done today.
Pope Francis to be Tried by Sanhedrin

July 7, 2015
A re-established and self declared Israeli Sanhedrin, the religious High Court composed of 71 sages, has declared that it is putting Pope Francis on trial unless he retracts his statement that the Jews have no right to the land of Israel or to Jerusalem.

In February 2013, the Vatican officially recognized the “State of Palestine” but more significantly, the Vatican signed a treaty in June with “Palestine” in which the Holy See switched its diplomatic relations from the Palestinian Liberation Organization to the “State of Palestine”. This treaty is the first legal document negotiated between the Holy See and the Palestinian state and as such, constitutes an official recognition.
The trial and judgment will be on September 20th, 2015. If Pope Francis chooses to ignore the summons, he will be judged in absentia.

The Sanhedrin sent a letter to Pope Francis in reaction to the Vatican’s recent support of the Palestinian Authority’s unilateral moves to declare themselves a nation, reported the Hebrew magazine Matzav Haruach on June 24.
The letter stated:
“Because the Vatican recognized the organization known as the Palestinian Authority as a nation, and has begun to refer to it as a nation in its documents. His honor has named the head of said authority as an ‘Angel of Peace’, as was explained by a spokesman for the Vatican, that his intention was to encourage Abu Mazen to advance towards peace. These actions, to our great dismay, are consistent with a long series of actions and stances that are as in the days of the Roman Catholic Religion, that swore to persecute Israel because we refused to accept their Messiah as the Messiah of Israel, and to renounce our faith. The recent announcements and actions of the Vatican are a rebuke to the Jewish Nation and to the Bible, which you use to interpret the prophecies, as if God has abandoned his original Nation of Israel. Reality has proven the opposite to be true.”
“We require from you an apology for your recognizing as a nation those who stole the land, those who are known as the Palestinian Authority, and we are informing the Vatican that the sole God given right to the land of Israel is to the Nation of Israel. If His Honor the Pope, and the Vatican, do not apologize within two weeks of receiving this letter, and if he does not change his ways, we shall judge these actions in the Court of Mount Zion, in a court of 71 Jewish elders of Zion, and enact the prophecy of ‘The liberators will rise up upon Mount Zion, to judge the Mountain of Esau and the kingdom shall be God’s’ (Obadiah 1:21). The court shall judge the Vatican in its presence or in absentia, and it is possible that the Vatican will be found guilty of anti-Semitism, as has been known to be done several times throughout history, and to place responsibility upon the Vatican for all of the outcomes of its actions.”

The letter was signed, “The Secretariat of the Court of Mount Zion”. The authorized representatives of the High Court are Rabbi Yoel Schwartz, Rabbi Dov Levanoni, Rabbi Israel Ariel, Rabbi Daniel Stavsky, Rabbi Yehuda Edri, and Rabbi Dov Meir Shtein.

The Sanhedrin has no political or legal status, and clearly has no authority over the Vatican. However, it is comprised of some of the greatest rabbis of the modern Jewish nation, men who have dedicated themselves to Torah, serving God and Israel. One of the main leaders behind the revival of the Sanhedrin is Rabbi Yoel Schwartz, well known for his advocacy in strengthening non-Jewish support for Israel.

The court’s rulings have the highest spiritual significance. The commandment to appoint judges is learned directly from the Bible (Exodus 18:13) and the present Sanhedrin is an effort to reestablish a tradition dating back to Moses.
Pope Francis’ recent visit to Israel and many of his actions caused disturbing waves in the difficult situation in the region.

His controversial description of Abbas as an “angel of peace” led to the Vatican backtracking and attempts to placate Israel. The Pope’s much-publicized meditation at a section of the security barrier prominently displaying pro-boycott graffiti was used by the Palestinians in an appeal to remove the much-needed security measure. That section of the wall also showed graffiti comparing the wall around Bethlehem to the Warsaw Ghetto. Pictures of the Pope’s visit to the wall went viral and became a symbol for anti-Israel sentiment.

While in Israel, Pope Francis attended Sunday mass at the Church of the Nativity. In his sermon, Latin Patriarch Fuoad Twal accused Israelis of being the present-day version of Christ killers by referring to the Palestinians as walking “in the footsteps of the Divine Child,” and likening the Israelis to King Herod. Shockingly, Pope Francis echoed his remarks in a later speech.

Pope Francis embraced the Palestinian mufti of Jerusalem, Sheikh Muhammed Hussein calling him “dear brother” in a show of great affection. In 2012, Hussein said it was the destiny of Muslims to kill Jews, who he claims are “subhuman beasts and the enemies of Allah.” Sheikh Hussein has also praised suicide bombers and said their souls “tell us to follow in their path,” remarks the Pope has never condemned.

Most significant, perhaps was a story of the Pope’s visit Caroline Glick told The Jerusalem Post. In a conversation with the Pope, Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu mentioned that Jesus spoke Hebrew. Pope Francis corrected him, saying that Jesus spoke Aramaic. A flustered Netanyahu agreed that educated Jews at the time spoke Aramaic, but the language of the common people and the language Jesus preached in was Hebrew.

Reuters wrote of the exchange, noting that, “Modern-day discourse about Jesus is complicated and often political.” The report went on to explain, “Palestinians sometimes describe Jesus as a Palestinian. Israelis object to that.”

Pope Francis embraced Arab leaders, but more significantly, he accepted Palestinian national status, precluding any negotiated peace process, and voiding the validity of Israel’s claim to their God-given homeland.

Rabbi Chaim says Messiah's Arrival Imminent
Sept 12th 2015
What?????

Rabbi Chaim Kanievsky, a leading authority in mainstream Ultra-Orthodox Judaism, has been giving clear and unequivocal messages recently that the coming of the Messiah is imminent. He is urging Jews to make Aliyah as soon as possible. Aliyah, the Hebrew verb for “going up”, refers to immigrating to Israel, which is seen as higher spiritual action that can help herald in the coming of the Messiah.
